Cranberry Spiced Toddy
Hot take: Tequila Toddy’s are best!
There, I said it! I still love whiskey too, but an agave-based Hot Toddy just hits different. Here’s an especially delicious Hot Toddy variation, made with one of my favorites: Punta Diamante Reposado from Casa Don Ramon.
I’ve also been making spiced cranberry syrup for a variety of cocktails this season (click here for the recipe for that) so I made a special batch with agave nectar just for this cocktail– and it was well worth it!
instructions:
In a heat-tempered glass, combine tequila, lemon juice and spiced-cranberry syrup.
Top with hot water and briefly stir to combine.
Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and whole star anise.
